I'm a retired school-teacher of 32 yrs. I've enjoyed a life-long love of quilts.
Fortunately, I inherited the family heirlooms. In 1988 I took quilting lessons and have been going strong ever since.
At first I made quilts for family members. A cottage industry grew from the experience. Piece-work and embroidery are my favorites.
I specialize in T-shirt quilts and Photo-memory quilts.
For three years I've taken lessons at the International Quilt Festival in Houston.
Currently I'm taking lessons on Applique to embellish quilt surfaces.
I have taught several classes on Beginning Quilting, and helped establish the
Feliciana Stitchers, a local guild in St. Francisville, LA. I'm a member of the
Gulf States Quilting Association, the River City Quilt Guild in Baton Rouge, and
the International Quilting Association.
